HI there, I bought 2x of these and also found the one I opened leaked over night (maybe 2 or 3 nights after I got it). The water seems to come from a small hole underneath in the back corner (like a over flow protection hole that drains the water if it gets too much). I would have though that even if it's filled up, the water won't keep running out. I've placed a cloth underneath the unit as a result. I've got a 2L bottle of water next to my desk that I use to fill the unit constantly. Another thing I noticed is a funny smell coming from this (not burning or electric smell) rather from the filter / water? I use clean tap water in the unit. I haven't opened the second one as yet.
