I bought some of these in the past and they don't work. They stick to a hard floor ok but they don't stay stuck to the mat.

How easy they can be removed from timber floor? Don't want the residual to stick to floor!
Can they use against carpet?
Once removed, can the pad be reused or have to stick on a new pad?
