Can the seat and back cushions be turned over or are they fixed. What assembly is needed?

Assembly , you just need to attach the arms and feet to the sofa.

Hi Celia, thanks for your interest,the cushions cannot be flipped over as they are attached to the back and the base with Velcro to hold them in place.However,the cushions can come off and you can throw them in for a wash.
