We're just checking this out for you now
Jin Teng commented over 3 years ago. Hi there,
The product itself won't be too hot to cause a fire on wooden deck but placing it directly on a wooden deck is not allowed. The main risk is that the sparks or burning materials may come out from the opening and cause a fire.

To use the product, the factory recommend that at least leave 1 meter around clear space with no flammable materials. To use on a wooden deck, the factory recommend to build a large enough concrete tile base and place the product on it, or at least place anti-flame mats under and around it.

Ideally, put it at a concrete place (corner) or open lawn.
