1. The left and right zipper sleeping bags cannot be zipped up together.
2. The double sleeping bag has a zip running the entire length of the sleeping bag when in a double configuration.

So does that mean that on the double there is only one zip down one side and the other side is sewn together down the side?

Hi Sheri,
When the double is zipped up as double, the zip goes around the entire sleeping bag.
When the double sleeping bag is converted to 2 singles, then the zip is one of the sides of the single bag.
