Thanks for your email and purchase. At first could you please make sure you've removed the mic cover on the top of battery box? When using the music mode you need to remove the cover that's sensitive mic to sync with music. Then put the music close to the battery box as much as possible so the music mode works well. For the remote control, there are 4 music sync modes (the number with music note symbol) you can choose one of them and sync with music, please feel free to let me know if you have any issue, thank you!
