how do answer the calls that makes it handsfree- voice activated?

Hi Michelle Dagg, Hands Free does not mean its voice activated. It means that you do not have hold your phone while talking. You still would need to dial from your phone but since your phone will be paired with the device, once you make the phone call, you would be able to talk without holding the phone in your hand :-) Hope this helps.
