Is this designed to be mounted on the wall or can it be set into the wall?

Hi Megan, this it designed to be wall mounted by putting screws through the back of the cabinet into the wall. However I don't see a problem with setting it into the wall either as long as there is enough space at the front to allow each side to slide open. Cheers
