Hi, Can you confirm that the garage is actually Building Code Compliant, even when a building consent is not required the building wok must still met the Building code. What evidence or Documentation comes with the shed to provide compliance. Keen on a garage but a just need to make sure it is legal. www.building.govt.nz/product-assurance

Hi, thanks for the reply. I was not after the instructions as such but confirmation that there is some sort of declaration or evidence that the structure will met the building code, this information generally should be made available at the point of purchase, if not then the onus is on the purchaser to prove the structure complies with the building code. I was after a yes or no answer that compliance documents are supplied if constructed to the plans and spec that comes with the garage?
